Mpumi “Mrs Mops” Mophatlane (born 9 April 1987; née Ledwaba) is a South African TV personality best known for appearing on The Real Housewives of Johannesburg.

The 37-year-old also appeared in the reality TV show The Mommy Club. Mpumi launched a skincare business inspired by natural remedies, Nala Reign.

Early Life

Nompumelelo Mophatlane born on 9 April 1987 in Tsakane, Ekurhuleni, Gauteng, South Africa. Her father was a known person in the taxi industry.

Growing up, she learned from her grandmother how to use natural products like clay and charcoal on her skin. Her upbringing toughened her up and familiarised her with the texture of the business world.

Education

After matriculating, Mpumi studied film and drama at the University of Pretoria.

Career

While in school, Mrs Mops encountered many challenges after many rejections at auditions. She remained persistent and eventually met with The Real Housewives of Johannesburg (RHOJ) producer at a fashion event.

Mrs Mops debuted on season 2 of 1Magic reality television series The Real Housewives of Johannesburg, abbreviated as RHOJ.

She later became one of the glamorous Jozi momfluencers on the reality show The Mommy Club. The second season finale aired in May 2024.

Aside from her success as a reality TV star, Mpumi is also a businessperson and entrepreneur. She launched her skincare brand, Nala Reign. It mainly consists of natural ingredients such as turmeric, charcoal, grape seed oil, shea butter, and hemp.

Mrs Mops tested these products on herself and adjusted them for consumption. She also owns and manages a cyber security company and is considering starting a taxi business.

Person Life

Mrs Mops is married to business mogul Isaac Mophatlane. The couple met and started dating in their first year in school.

After dating for many weeks, Isaac took Mpumi on a tour in Italy and married shortly afterward. She has three children, Marang, Khumo, and Sekai.

Mrs Mops and her husband were at risk of losing their mansion in Waterkloof Heights to an auction in March 2025. The home offers many lounges, a library, a terrace, and a swimming pool, among other things.

In September 2023, the mansion was auctioned and received an offer of R5.8. According to Pretoria High Court’s sheriff and the creditor, Nedbank, the family owes R9 million.

While addressing rumors about her Brazilian butt lift (BBL), Mrs. Mop revealed that she opted for local surgical expertise instead of pursuing enhancements overseas. She resides in Johannesburg.
