Early Life
Mpumelelo Mseleku was born on 3 March 2001 to Musa Mseleku and Nokukhanya “MaYeni” Mseleku. He grew up in Is’thembu and is the second-born child of his parents.
His father married five women, his mother, MaYeni, is the second wife. His full siblings are Mnini and Obanzi, while his step-siblings are Lwandle, Abongwe, Owami, Sne, Mpilonhle, Mawande, and Zenande.
Education
Mpumelelo attended Boston College to study music.
Career
Mpumelelo Mseleku has appeared in many reality television shows. He debuted in his father’s series Uthando Nes’thembu, a show about how his family navigates their polygamous relationship.
He also appeared in the spinoff reality show Izingane Ze’Sthembu, where he mentioned his love for a polygamous marriage. His siblings are also cast members of the show.
Mseleku has water purification products and a security company, Sbindi. The show Izingane Ze’Sthembu returned for season three on 25 May 2025. It airs on Mzansi Magic at Mzansi Magic.
Aside from reality television, Mpumelelo has played football for the PSL team Moroka Swallows in the DStv Diski Challenge. He joined the club in 2022 and debuted as a substitute player.
Personal Life
Mpumelelo Mseleku is dating Vuyokazi Nciweni and Nompumelelo Makhanya. He has announced that he is getting married to them. He has been dating them for over two years, met with their families, and introduced them to his family.
He has a child with Vuyokazi Nciweni and another with his second girlfriend, Tirelo Kale. He says that he chose to be in a polygamous relationship because he wants to grow his family’s name.
Mpumelelo has also been in a relationship with Nomfundo Shezi, aka. Queen Lolly. Although he tried to deny it, Queen Lolly leaked evidence.
His father, Musa, did not approve of their relationship and tried to end it. Musa complained that Oueen Lolly was way older than Mpumelelo and that she had almost slept with every male celebrity in the country.
The disapproval was direct, and Musa opened a case of crimen injuria and extortion against Queen Lolly.
In 2025, The police investigated Mpumelelo Mseleku in connection with a murder case after a fatal shooting at the family’s home in Umzumbe, KwaZulu-Natal.
The incident claimed the life of a 25-year-old man, who was armed and reportedly entered the property, demanding to see one of Musa’s sons. He was shot multiple times, allegedly by Mpumelelo.
